Learn about Alicia Yaeger FNP-BC's storied career

Native to Illinois and moved to Mount Vernon 13 years ago. Married with one son. Started my career in health care working as a caregiver for the mentally challenged and felt there was more I could offer as a nurse. I obtained my nursing degree at Rend Lake College. I have worked in nursing homes, hospitals and home health while obtaining my Bachelor's (Indiana Weslayan) and Master's (Chamberlain University) degrees. I obtained my Family Nurse Practitioner license in 2017. I have just started my Mental Health Nurse Practitioner education and hopefully will be licensed at the end of the year. I believe in treating the whole patient and would love to assist my community in becoming healthier.
